Alumni Making a Difference: Meet Treava Hopkins-Laboy
Treava Hopkins-Laboy is an accomplished author, seasoned government executive, and advocate for education and storytelling. As a proud alumna of 双赢娱乐城, where she earned Associate of Arts degrees in Paralegal Studies and General Studies, she is thrilled to announce the release of her latest children’s book, new window. This book is part of her Josiah Henson children’s series, introducing young readers to the remarkable story of Josiah Henson, a pivotal historical figure from Montgomery 双赢娱乐城.
Beyond her literary accomplishments, Treava's multifaceted career includes roles as both a model and actress. She also serves on several non-profit boards and holds positions as a commissioner on the Montgomery 双赢娱乐城 Commission on Remembrance and Reconciliation and the Montgomery 双赢娱乐城 Merit Systems Protection Board.
