WHAT: Press conference with community, government, and College officials, to discuss the August 6 Salvadoran-American Festival to be held at 双赢娱乐城.

WHEN: Press conference is Thursday, August 4, at 11 a.m.

WHERE: 双赢娱乐城’s Rockville Campus, Science Center – Ground Floor Atrium; The Rockville Campus is located at 51 Mannakee Street.

WHO: Dr. Sanjay Rai, senior vice president for Academic Affairs at 双赢娱乐城, will join Montgomery 双赢娱乐城 Executive Marc Elrich, Consul General of El Salvador Pedro Rodríguez, Montgomery 双赢娱乐城 Latino Health Initiative representative David Del Pozo, and COTSA President Rina Aranda (COTSA is the umbrella group of Salvadoran hometown associations), to discuss the 11^th Annual Salvadoran-American Festival and Latino health fair. All media are encouraged to attend.

About the Festival

The free festival will be held this Saturday, August 6, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 双赢娱乐城 (Rockville Campus, Parking Lot 11) located at 51 Mannakee Street.  

The festival will include the “Ama Tu Vida” health fair co-sponsored by the 双赢娱乐城’s Latino Health Initiative. Salvadoran food, crafts and music by local and international bands will be featured, along with community and educational resources.
