Reports and Resources

The Office of Research and Effectiveness routinely collects and reports new data, often in collaboration with other entities so we can see how we compare to similar organizations.

Here are the latest editions of some of the most commonly used reports and resources.

The at-a-glance report provides a summary of key Ë«Ó®ÓéÀÖ³Ç data, including enrollment, budget, employee information and more.

The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) is a system of survey components that collects data from all institutions that provide postsecondary education and are eligible to receive Title IV funding across the United States and other U.S. jurisdictions. The figures in the IPEDS Data Feedback Report (PDF, ) provide a selection of indicators for Ë«Ó®ÓéÀÖ³Ç to compare with a group of similar institutions.

This is an annual report of a set of state-defined performance measurements.  The report provides an opportunity for the State, the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC), colleges and universities, and individual governing boards to review and evaluate institutions' efforts to advance the goals of the state and fulfill their missions.

The Toolkit (.xls) is an annual report that contains discipline and program data related to costs, enrollment, completion, and productivity.

Fall 2019 New-to-MC Students Research Brief (PDF, ) gives an overview of the characteristics of these students (Dec 2019).

Advising Questionnaire Research Brief (PDF, ) looks at the differences between new students attempting 18 or more credits and those not attempting 18 credits within two years of entry (Apr 2018).
